Last week, I attended the very exciting, very chic soiree held at Jaguar Bryanston in honour of Estée Lauder’s latest offering: the dreamy, creamy, luxurious, sculpting, hydrating lipstick that is Pure Colour Envy. We got to play and experiment with the lipsticks to discover our unique shade. Estée Lauder’s head makeup artist, Chris Williams, helped us to find a shade that we loved but that we wouldn’t necessarily wear and encouraged us to try it on. I normally wear bright or dark shades, so chose a lighter pink called Infamous – which I think will be perfect for spring and summer.
Pure Colour Envy is described as
“Colour with the power to transform your lips, your look, your attitude. Super creamy, glides on effortlessly, covers evenly. Sensually soft and smooth, luxuriously comfortable. 6-hour wear.
Intensifies: Saturates lips with high-intensity color—in one stroke. Lip-sculpting statement shades for all skintones.
Sculpts: Multi-faceted pigments create definition. Lips look beautifully shaped, sculpted, curvaceous.
Hydrates: Time-released Moisture Complex helps capture and seal-in hydration. Lips feel continuously moisturized throughout the day.”

I’m loving these video clips of Pure Colour Envy. They are so feminine and sensual, bold and venturesome. Watch them if you have 5 minutes!
