I am a lover of changing my nail colour every 2-3 weeks. A problem I’ve had in the past is that I see a gorgeous colour that I haveto have, get it, apply it, and am disappointed with the end result. People either have warm or cool undertones, which explains why the neon orange that your friend wears and loves, doesn’t look as good on you as it does on her.
Troubles be gone! I have found the coolest tool for trying on colours. Head over to OPI here and choose the ‘TRY ON THIS COLOR’ tab. You can alter the skin tone to match your own, and you can also change the nail length! You can narrow your search down to pinks or purples or any other colour that you like and you can even choose to apply the shatter effect to your online nails! Enjoy playing!
Greetings, fashionable ones.
I often get asked what items I consider as classic, basic pieces that could form the foundation of a wardrobe. My capsule collection includes 15 pieces and every Wednesday for 15 weeks, I will be posting a new item to the series. Let’s begin…
1. A Blazer
It’s classic, its feminine and it looks great on all body types. Pair it with shorts, jeans, a skirt, a dress – basically it looks good with almost anything! Make sure you find one that fits you well and accentuates your waist. Colourful blazers are a great way to add a pop of colour to a neutral outfit!
How to wear it in your…
20’s – pair a fuchsia or coral blazer with a graphic or plain t-shirt, distressed jeans and killer heels for a night on the town or pumps for a more casual look. Accessorize with a statement necklace or stacked bangles.
30’s – wear a black blazer with collar embellishment detail with a cream/white lace mini dress and black patent leather heels. Add a beautiful clutch bag in the mix and you’re ready!
40’s – team a neutral blazer blazer with a silk shirt, indigo coloured jeans and neutral pumps. Add some colour to your outfit with a brightly coloured scarf.
50’s – wear your blazer with a fitted shirt, a pair of straight black pants, and some pretty shoes or riding boots, if its cold out.
